Construction
inspection and documentation services for reconstructing approximately 7.9 miles of Interstate 79 just north of the Marianna
Interchange to the bridge carrying Route 40 over Interstate 79. Also
included is the interchange at Lone Pine which involves extending the on
and off ramps and resurfacing the Laboratory Interchange. Original
concrete was laid in the 1960's. Five bridges will also be
replaced. One of the bridges carries Interstate 79 over Weaver Run
Road (State Route 2006) and the other carries Interstate 79 over State
Route 19. Client: PENNDOT District

existing pavement with superpave bituminous pavement courses including a wearing
course, binder course, base course, and subbase. Construction of two dual
simple span composite prestressed concrete spread box beam bridges,
rehabilitation of a simple span prestressed concrete adjacent box beam bridge
and the miscellaneous construction of drainage, guide rail, paved shoulders,
signing and pavement markings |
